Most delivery crews want to finish the job before lunch. They push the Queen frame past the corridor turn without looking back. That is when the damage happens. You need to catch it before the driver leaves. The driver won't tell you. It is their way to keep moving. Lift door opening is often the bottleneck, around 90cm wide.
The frame is 152cm wide, so it fits the lift, but the door is tight. Watch the corners. If the metal or wood scrapes the lift door, there will be a dent. Check the legs too. Solid wood legs snap if dropped. You want to see the full surface of the frame. Inspect the finish under the light. If you spot a chip, mark it on the slip. Do not sign clean. The warranty covers defects, but delivery damage is different. It is the buyer's problem if you sign first.
This one is strict. You must inspect. The only time I would skip it is if the frame arrives pre-assembled in the room, but that is rare. Most frames come flat-packed.
